Interview and Negotiation 

 When you're going to an interview:

  • Focus on your uniqueness and its benefits to the job you are applying to. If you have professional experience and are transitioning jobs, identify your transferable skills and accomplishments.

When you receive a job offer:

  • Do some research and compare salary ranges for same positions in similar companies (At same or closer locations).
  • Evaluate not only the base salary, but the benefits offered as part of the overall compensation: healthcare insurance, vacation, retirement plan, among others.

Remember, it is often required a professional dress attire for your audience.  This first impression will make a difference and certainly  will prove that if you want a job, you have to dress for success.
